Valentine Cupcakes

My daughter loves making cupcakes.  She wanted to make them every weekend but I told her we'd get too fat, maybe every other weekend.  Here's a simple trick to decorate your valentine's cupcake.  She has some great tips too.

My favorite part of this cupcake is that it was a chocolate cream filled cupcake, so check out how to make a cream filled cupcake.

Origami Helicopter

A fun activity to keep the kids busy for an hour, hopefully more.  Have them make these in different colors and see if color affects speed, lol.  Try different sizes, Have contests like, who has the fastest one, who can hit a target.  Have fun.

No Snow, No Problem

No snow, no problem, enjoy a southern snowball fight :)  So much fun to play with your family.  Great for little kids because it's so much softer then snow.

Minnie Mouse nails for your holiday break

Many of my friends go to Disney for the holidays.  I wish it was me however we will visit family by going north instead of south.  It doesn't mean we cannot live vicariously through our south flying friends.  Have some fun and paint your nails like Minnie Mouse :)

Christmas Craft: How to make an Origami Star Ornament

I have a little tree from my college days.  Yes, I bought a tabletop artificial tree.  It has gotten very good use out of it's 20 years.  My kids like to decorate it with the antique ornaments that we got from their great-grandmother, many years ago.  We also decorate it with some of our homemade ornaments.  I hope you enjoy this Christmas craft for kids.
